walking to induce. bogus :(

I'm sure everyone has seen me post on here of how miserably pregnant I am lol I will be 40 weeks & due tomorrow. I have been walking ALLOT to try and induce labor myself because my doctor said that was really the only thing I could do. Whenever I DO walk I'll get contractions and then they stop as soon as I stop walking and sit down to rest. :( I really really do not want to get induced. I have my appt with the dr on wednesday to set an induction date and in sure I won't do into labor by then :( just wanted to vent. nobody else seems to understand my misery.

I was in same situt as u and i ate fresh  pinapel and I went to labor next day

yeah in afraid to be induced I have hears nothing hut bad things about it. and most of the time it ends up in c section which I dont want either :( I hope she starts making her way out soon. id much rather her come on her own terms

Sex and nipple stimulation did it for me for my first. I was scheduled for an induction had sex with nipple stimulation too the night before fell asleep with contractions. The next morning I woke up and had contractions got to the hospital for my induction and they didn't have to induce me I was already in labor 3cm dialated and 3mins apart didn't know I was in labor I wasn't in pain. Then they gave me pitocin (to rush things) which made my daughter's heart rate drop so I had an emergency Csection. I'm 31weeks with my second and I'm not scheduling an induction worst decision ever.

I drank castor oil with my last child amd went into labor that morning.  Nut i must warn u it tastes horrible

My doctor told me that walking wouldn't really induce labor. She said having sex will because the sperm has the natural form of pitocin in it.

im 13 weeks with twins , any advice ladies???

I'm 32weeks with twins and I'm as big now as I was when I had my first two Singleton pregnancy. Its a miserable feeling. I was actually induce with my first two pregnancy with no pain meds and labor went fast for me. Yes it was painful but pain med can slow the labor process aswell as being induce and I didn't want to add all that together. I had to be induce with both of them due to high blood pressure. Try walking and then sex shortly after both can bring on labor. Good luck mommy to be.
