Definitely wash the baby clothes. Babies skin are very sensitive. I dried all the clothes on a lower temp setting. I would recommend using a baby safe detergent since babies skin is very sensitive it's easier to be safe than have to deal with a rash.
You should ALWAYS wash baby clothes. And wash them in draft or tide free, something along those lines.
I will b picking up a bottle of dreft tomorrow.
there's a baby detergent called Dreft, it is MAGICAL. especially if your baby has sensitive skin. gets any stain out.
I would use regular but a very small amount
Is it rlly necessary to wash it with baby detergent or can I use regular detergent?
I washed all my newborn clothes and lasted them out to dry with my first one. But when we had her she was small and in preemie clothes so we had to send grandma shopping while we were at the hospital and had to bring her home in something. Lol so the preemies were not washed. I don't think it's that big of a deal bc it's not like the baby's are trying clothes on like adults do.
Yes I did and they did not shrink but to be on the safe side when you dry them but it on med temp
