@kaysie03 thank you for your help anyway! I appreciate it. I'm seeing a doctor in the morning so i'll see what she says
Even if they did suggest something, i probably cant buy it here because they would've suggested it when my husband asked , i guess?
I hope it goes away soon, i was trying to look for something but didn't have any luck. Feel better(:
Haha its right next to Italy. :) no, she said nothing except tylenol, and cant get anything else without prescribtion except ibuprofen but i cant take that in pregnancy.
If you'd like ill call a pharmacy and see what they suggest
@vhewett, i already said im allergic.
Im not gonna take anything.. i'll try to go to sleep and hope it goes away by morning.
I have no idea where that is lol. Did the pharmacist recommend anything?
Where are you, if you dont mind me asking?
They gave me that the last time i was in hospital but i was 20 weeks, i cant believe they would do that! Wtf? And my husband went to the pharmacy and they told him he cant get it without prescribtion anyway and its definitely harmful during pregnancy. Wtf?? I called an obgyn in hospital because its 11 pm i am shocked
Agree. Dont take it. I cant believe they even suggested it!
Voltaren is an NSAID like Advil, motrin, and aspirin. Its not advised to use NSAIDS at any point in pregnancy.
I called the hospital and they told me i can take voltaren (diklofenak) dont know how its called in english but i read on internet that it isnt safe for pregnant women especially in third trimester ?? Anyone taken this medication in their pregnancy??
She didnt give me anything because my fever isnt too high.
Yes, acetaminophen or paracetamol as its called in Europe.
Is it the acetaminophen your allergic too?
Wat did the dr say? I would think he/she could give you an alternative fever reducer. Let me see if i have anything on my list i could recommend.
I'm allergic to tylenol thats why i asked for natural ways..
Thanks for advice. I've tried the bath but not helping, i keep drinking lots of cold water and i put a cold wet cloth on my forehead because i think my head is boiling hopefully it will somehow help
Its not natural, but Tylenol will bring your temp down... As far as showers/baths make sure they are lukewarm not warm or cool, i also second the no layers, just light pajamas - "sweating out a fever" is a terrible idea and will just raise your temp. Also make sure you stay well hydrated. With a fever you dehydrate faster and that in turn raises your body temp.
Luke warm baths taking a washcloth wiping down the upper parts of your body for about 20 minutes, popsicles, cold clear fluids, dont bunndle up in a bunch of clothes or blankets simply a light sheet or light blanket stay away from airvents and isolating fans.
