My engagement ring and wedding ring match but my husband's is completely different.
My husbands band is black titanium and mine is platinum with pave diamonds and a slight "v" in the center to accommodate my engagement ring (my center stone is kite set)... His ring and mine couldn't be any farther from a match and that's okay with us. To be honest my husband only had his ring on for the ceremony and a few days after. It now sits neatly in my jewelry box because he feels its kind of heavy and he would rather just get a tattoo on his ring finger.... So in short, no, they do not need to match at all. Each person should have something that speaks to them and their taste. After all the two people who get married aren't the same, so why should the rings be any different.
I have a white gold ring with lots of diamonds and my Hubby's is just a titanium band with no diamonds.
My engagement ring and wedding band are platinum with diamonds and my hubby's ring is platinum with a gold piece through the middle. I have no gold on mine. As long as my hubby's ring says "I'm taken" and I've got a nice diamond, I'm happy. ha ha
My husband's band is black ceramic and absolutely gorgeous - mine is white gold and diamonds which matches my engagement ring perfectly. I wanted him to have something that matched his style, wasn't too flashy but solid and durable. Mine is delicate, feminine, and low-profile so I can wear it even at work. They were given at the same wonderful ceremony - that's all the "match" I need.
My husband and mine don't match at all. I don't ever think I've heard of it needing to match
I have a standard wedding rin with the gold and diamond. His is just a titanium band. So no you don't need a matching set.
Mine looks nothing like my husband's. I don't think anything is wrong with them not looking alike.
They don't have to. You can choose whichever ring you like. It's not about how it looks...It's the meaning behind it :)
It can have the same type of diamond in it and maybe the design. But his can be black and yours can be a different color.
