I'm thinking about doing it to. But i don't want my baby to get sick. I love the idea of everyone being able to visit him.

When will your baby be born? If it's during flu season I would not have guests over. People can be carriers of illnesses & not be sick themselves so I wouldn't risk it.

I would wait a good month if you are going to do a welcome home party. Still think about doing it at maybe grandma's house. Plus you will be bleeding for about good 2 weeks. Baby # 3 on the way.

I personally like the baby showers rather then welcome homes.. After having a baby your sore, bleeding and bonding with baby.. I find it easier to have less people around for awhile, plus everyone wants to hold and touch the baby... but thats just me. Good luck

No! The last thing I wanted after getting my v ripped up was seeing visitors right after.  I had lots of pain for weeks.

I think you would want to rest, and be alone with baby, instead of a party.

I'm doing both a baby shower and welcome home for close friends and family. I may be sore an uncomfortable but I can't wait to show my little man off

Well I'm not sure what exactly your talking about, but I think it's best to have a baby shower before birth, to help ensure you have everything you need, and for the sake of not being too tired yourself.
