Around july i signed up for the one time homeless assistant after that was over we still didnt have anywhere to go...so we came to tijuana, i didnt report my move i was just so stressed out...yet i was still receiving my cash aid and food stamps til this day...around October i got a part time job and still did not report anything, then i got hired at another job...still didnt report it!!! YES IM AN IDIOT I KNOW...now im moving out of tijuana back to modesto California and im currently 3 months pregnant...im sooo scared to try and transfer my benefit to another county, will i go to jail for this???

I would report the income changes. If your income is that small you will still qualify for benefits.

if I was you I would definitely call up there all there report to change and then see what's going on what you need to be doing because you don't want to go to jail

I was homeless at one point, the two jobs were just part time no more that 200$ every 2weeks and i dont have my own home i am staying with a relative

I know someone that didn't report the changes within the month like they require and she had to pay everything back that she received for the 6mos since her changes occurred plus a fine...they told her she would get jail time if she did not follow through.

In California they will fine you. And can take away benefits for life where u will never qualify again and can result to jail time. I am from sac ca

If it wasn't time for you to recertify  then they usually won't do anything but u need to report the changes now so u don't end up in trouble.

Why are you trying to transfer your benefit?  At this point,  I think you should just write or call them and say you're moving out of the area and cancel your benefits if you don't qualify anymore.

It could be jail time or a fine. In oklahoma they are cracking down on welfare fraud bad. Im not on welfare but its been on the news a lot lately.
