what to pack

I don't know what to pack for the hospital. Or is it too early for 36 weeks?

It's never too early. Because you never know. And if having to pack a bag is stressing you out, better to just do it. This is what I pack (I've had two babies):
Pajamas for me (in case I feel great and don't want to run around in a gown)
Comfortable outfit to wear home
Pads (the extra big overnight ones - not all hospitals provide them, so check ahead)
Toiletries bag
Camera
Phone
Diary (for recording my birth story while it's still fresh)
Snacks (juice boxes, crackers, other non perishable snacks - breastfeeding makes you super hungry, especially after labor, and at inconvenient times, like the middle of the night. I try to pack fresh fruit once I go into labor)
For baby:
A couple of onesies and sleepers
Soother (some people recommend establishing breastfeeding first, but I've never had a problem, as long as they are latching properly)
Diapers and wipes (again, some hospitals don't provide them, or they don't provide newborn sized ones)
An outfit for baby to wear home

That's all. You don't need to pack anything to occupy your time, you'll be so busy sleeping, visiting and taking care of baby.

You won't need to pack diapers. They normally provide that for you. But I am taking for me a night gown, slippers, bra, panties, outfit to leave in, a travel kit with shampoo etc, an for her I got a few outfits and blankets an a pacifier or two.

You dont want to pack to many out fits because the baby will have to keep on something with out legs because the doctors and nurses will need east access to the legs in arm for test in things.

I'm no sure either! I'm 32 weeks.
But I was thinking of taking, baby receiving blankets, some diapers, wipes, clothing, pads for myself, and toothpaste things like that. Especially if we don't know how long we might stay at the hospital.
