when can i expose my newborn to people?? plus mother in law rant

I live in a house full of people (my SO bros n gfs and 2 kids and 2 dogs n mom n dad)
Due to financial issues at the moment,
So its a lot of people and honestly I don't want them around kissing my baby or holding her all the time after shes born but idk how to address this issue.
Also I'm feeling a type of way towards them due to the fact they haven't been excited or involved in the babys journey, for example my mother in law rather play with my puppy while I showed her some ultrasound pictures of my baby she wasn't paying attention n she didn't say nothing about my princess  n yeah things like that are getting to me now. So if they act like that while shes in my tummy it makes me not wanna share her when she comes since they didn't care before.

My daughters Grandparents acted that way, she is 7 years old and from the moment they say her, Madalyn was the apple of their eye! She is their world and I could not imagine keeping them away from eachother, but. I felt the same as you did!

Thankfully I grew up with a sweet but very blunt grandma who would say it like it is. If you are fine with someone holding the baby hand her over and say, "please dont kiss her on the mouth or face. I think its gross." (I plan on saying this to anyone I think may actually do it... mil)
Definitely ask housemates to get the whooping cough vaccine.
I kind of understand people not getting super excited about us pictures... I never really got too into it for other people, but I cared a lot. Obviously now that I have my own us pictures I now see why moms cared so much.. mil sounds a bit rude imo.
Good luck. Be straight forward, once you say what you want its out there and people can have their own responses.

Make sure Everyone in the house hold gets the whooping cough and flu shot, since the baby can't get the shot yet you should have everyone in the household get it

I would just flat out tell people who don't want the baby held all the time because you want the baby to have rest and because of potential germs being passed around. Also if your in a house full of people I would tell them they need to be vaccinated for the whooping cough. The animals will actually help build the baby's immunity to allergies. When my daughter was born I had dogs and cats. The cats weren't allowed to come in because I hate litter boxes but they helped with allergies. Good luck with the family.
