I'm scheduled for a csection Friday August 7, and I'm working up until the Wednesday before (8/5). When I don't go to work,I find myself sleeping all day. It's good for me to get up and do stuff, plus it makes the time go by faster :)

My last day at work was 4 days before I turned 39 weeks. It's good because I was extremely uncomfortable the last week of my pregnancy.

I worked right up until the day before my first son was born. But with this pregnancy, I'm leaving at 32 weeks and my last day is Friday. I'm very excited because I'll be able to get everything ready for the baby while getting in a little more quality one on one time with my four year old before he's a big brother. Since I'm leaving early though, I won't get my short term disability from work nor my Aflac benefits since I won't be returning after baby comes. Weigh your options, looks at your financial situation and consider the toll working can take on your pregnant body.

It's really up to you and how you feel. I was due on a Monday so I was scheduled up until the Friday before my due date. I needed the money, and wanted more time with my baby after he was born. I didn't make it though, on Wednesday (5 days before my due date) I was having braxton hicks and could barely walk so my fiancee had to come pick me up. The last few days of pregnancy are really tough.
