when does your breast milk come in?

I'm 36 weeks tomorrow. And I'm dilated to a 3 we are expecting her to be here in a week. I haven't leaked yet or anything. So does your milk come in after birth or will it nother cone at all since she's gonna be early?

It normally comes in a few days after you give birth

Your milk will come in. Anytime you deliver a baby after the placenta is fully formed (14-16 weeks) your body will make milk! That's why moms of preemies can pump for their babies.

For the first 3-4 days it's colustrum . Then if you continue nursing every two hours, or pumping your milk will come in after a few days
