I'm 36 weeks, I plan on working until the day before I'm supposed to have her unless she decides otherwise. My workers are very supportive and they compromise with me every step of the way!
My first son is also six....and although my job is only part time it does kinda require a lot of movement and that's when I randomly get the sharp pain...if I'm sitting or moving slowly I'm fine...but I have to multi task, if I see costumers then check them out and go back to stocking merchandise on shelves, my last day was yesterday and although I need the money too and I don't get a paid leave I have to go because the pain is really uncomfortable :/
Yeah, I think it has a lot to do with what type of work and how your pregnancy is going. My job has me at a desk most of the time so I don't have any trouble, plus my pregnancy has been wonderful with no complaints or real aches until about a week ago when my hip started bothering me. I will be induced Monday (@39w1d) and will work through Friday!
I'm working full time on my feet all day. It's getting hard on me now that I'm 35 weeks, 3 days. I don't have another option though. I'm working until I'm 39 weeks because I desperately need the money.
We inspect surgical parts but my doc Gabe me a note that Said I couldn't stand or carry heavy things at 8 weeks and recently was having pains and she took me off work last Friday I also worked graveyard she didn't like that too much. Maybe your can take you off work too
I'm still working at 36 weeks and won't stop till 39 if my baby cooperates and comes near the due date. For us it's not really an option, we need both incomes.
Depends what kind of work that you do. I'm a warranty administrator for a major vehicle dealership chain, so I'm able to sit and be off of my feet for the most part. But then there's other days where I hardly get rest at all. I have a very understanding boss though who permits me to leave an hour or so early if I need to. I'm just a few days shy of 36 weeks.
The belly band helps hold the weight of your stomach up so its not putting so much pressure on your pelvis and hips. I'm a CNA and still working. 31 weeks. Plan on working until I deliver, this is my second child also and my son will be 6 next week. Try taking Tylenol and using the belly band. It helps.
Depends on what kind of work you. I'm still working at 33 weeks I just take lots of breaks and I sit down alot. Ftm
