I tested positive 5 days before I missed my period, does depend on the type of test you buy tho and you can get a false negative if you test to early but it's not impossible. If you only have a day to wait I would just wait till Saturday.
My doctor told me you have to at least be 4 weeks pregnant to test positive on a home pregnancy test
I would test in a few days it may have been toon early . good luck
