Hi, of course im pregnant and i have a non Pregnant question. I have been working part time for a vendor. She wants me too work presidents day. Should i request time and a half? Me and her have a great relationship. Buy i believe this is a ethical matter. There are laws for this correct? I have looked up the FLSA but i only found info for working overtime. this is a part-time position.

This is the only place i know where i will get a quick response. Plus i value u ladies minds?

I don't think presidents day is a holiday that usually gets time and a half. When I was working, for a major corporation, we didn't get time and a half for any holiday and my husband only gets it on Easter, Thanksgiving, Xmas and new years.
But if you're on good terms with your boss, you can ask about it. You never know what will happen. I just wouldn't get my hopes up if I were you.
