work stress

I am so stressed out at work. I come and I feel overwhelmed and I just want to go home all the time. Has anyone got leave for work stress while pregnant?
I work at a call center and have to deal with alot of irrate customers and although I know I shouldnt take it personal I do. I get frustrated and sometimes I want to cry. I am 29 weeks pregnant and I still have under three months to go before my maternity leave:/

That's very true. I known it's easier said then done but just take it one day at a time. If you have a call that drives you a little extra batty take some deep breaths before you take another. Maybe it would be possible to even get up and walk for a minute (pretend bathroom break). That might help relax you a bit.

Thank you both.. I never dreaded coming to work as much as I do now and it's even harder when you can't afford to take time off. Bills don't pay themselves and it wouldn't be fair to leave my husband to work all by himself.

I know that the stress from working in a call center can be overwhelming to say the least. I would talk to your doctor and also find out your employer their maternity leave practices. I know when I worked in a Call Center it was 12 weeks and then you either went unpaid or took your own vacation time. Also, talk to your supervisor at work. Maybe they have a project you could work on that would limit your time speaking with customers.  If you are currently at 29 weeks and plan on going back right after maternity leave is up, you could seriously be cutting into your time once the baby comes. Good luck hun.
