Should I talk to my doctor about the stress?
samething here , im currently 27 weeks pregnant was working in a call center up until about a month ago , i had to resign due to the stress levels , i couldnt take it , i would always wanna leave early , i dread coming to work , it was horrible ,
I know that the stress from working in a call center can be overwhelming to say the least. I would talk to your doctor and also find out your employer their maternity leave practices. I know when I worked in a Call Center it was 12 weeks and then you either went unpaid or took your own vacation time. Also, talk to your supervisor at work. Maybe they have a project you could work on that would limit your time speaking with customers. If you are currently at 29 weeks and plan on going back right after maternity leave is up, you could seriously be cutting into your time once the baby comes. Good luck hun.
Thank you both.. I never dreaded coming to work as much as I do now and it's even harder when you can't afford to take time off. Bills don't pay themselves and it wouldn't be fair to leave my husband to work all by himself.
That's very true. I known it's easier said then done but just take it one day at a time. If you have a call that drives you a little extra batty take some deep breaths before you take another. Maybe it would be possible to even get up and walk for a minute (pretend bathroom break). That might help relax you a bit.
