If you're use to lifting prior to pregnancy (weights, heavy bulk items, etc), you will be okay. Lifting won't cause a miscarriage unless dr said other wise.  However, the further along you are try to do less and have someone help you out. I work in retail and I'm always lifting, pulling products  but now I got a drs note to do less because back pain and pelvic pain comes on faster.

i've been lifting my whole pregancy. You shouldnt be lifting heavy stuff during the end of your pregnancy because of your back.

Agree, they tell you not to. But when you have other kids, you lift them up all the time!

You'll be fine. My son is 17 months and is 33lbs and I've been picking him up this whole pregnancy. People think that because you're pregnant you can't do anything anymore and that's not true. You know what you're capable of and what your limitations are.
