wrist sprain and contussion.

Tuesday night I fell while walking up the stairs, and I saved my belly by falling rather hard on my wrist. After an hour I decided to go to the ER since my wrisg was swelling and I couldn't move it. Baby was fine, but I had a sprained wrist and contusion. The doctor precribed me vicodin 5mg for the pain, but I'm so worried. I have taken one everyday because my wrist hurts. Has anyone had an experience like this. I am 32 weeks and 5days. I need to know if anyone has had complications due to low use of prescribed pain medication.

Thanks everyone! I feel better now. Some online pregnancy communities are crazy. The mommies to be freak out on others like sharks. Lol.

When I was pregnant with my first baby I had really bad kidney stones I was somewhere between 20-30 weeks. My doc prescribed me hydrocodone 10/650. I was really scared to take it too but I did bc the pain was so bad and my little one is now 3 and healthy as can be :)

Yeah I'm on methadone too and its going to be fine. They wouldn't have prescribed it if it were going to be damaging. And 5mg is nothing.
