Take a probiitic. This will help assure the pH of the vagina stays level. It is when the pH gets thrown off that causes the naturally present yeast and bacteria to overgrow causing an infection. They're extremely common with pregnancy because the hormones throw the pH off. Once you get them you tend to get them more often
The probiotic will help prevent reoccurrence. Acidophilus is one that you can try, note this will really work for just yeast and not bacteria. Align is another you can try, patients tend to do well with this one. Both are safe with pregnancy.
Also try to not use fragrant soaps and detergents. Use something more gentle.
Hope this helps :-)

Yogurt has been helping me. I eat one a day and haven't had a problem since I was 7 weeks. I am now 18 weeks 2 days. Give it a try! :)

Its very common to get multiple yeast infections during pregnancy. There isn't really any way of preventing as hormones change constantly. Speak with your doctor to see about preventatives but I've learned they don't help much.
