Has anyone else had to take zofran every day ? I'm 10 weeks and have to take it every morning.

I ment to take it but I did my research thank god!! and came across a website that had over 100++woman who have taken it though there pergancy and there kids after birth came out with lip and heart defect or death :-( now as we speak there is over 1200 law suits going against the company please don't take it I have really bad morning sicknesses been to hopstial 5 times though this pergancy now 37 weeks and I am still kicking with out taking anythink

Zofran is now being recall for causing cleft lip try asking for promethzine for nausea

Eeek see this one I'm scared to take :-(  I was prescribed it at 20 weeks and I've yet to take any because I've heard it causes birth defects and from the above post I'm soooo glad I never took it....Im now 22 weeks and just fine without it

I thought I couldn't go on without it, but since hearing the side affects and law suit info I have stopped. I realized that alot of my nausea was due to acid reflux and started taking zantac (ranitidine) regularly and am doing much better!

I have had to take it this entire pregnancy. Sometimes 9 times a day. Now I take it a few times a week if I absolutely cannot deal without it and by that I mean throwing every single thing up. I am scared bc of the recall on it though that's the main reason I cut back on it a lot

Be careful with the zofran ladies there's a law suit going on bc is causing birth defects in babies

I take promethazine. However I am not a fan of the side effect that causes me to be very sleepy. It does work wonders though, I only take it when absolutely necessary. I've taken Zofran a few times with all three pregnancies.

I heard the same thing about Zofran they even have a law suit going on about it I hope all u ladies that are taking that are aware of the risks my doc told me about some things I could take over the counter besides the prescribed meds

I took zofran throughout my entire pregnancy. My son that is presently 16 years old was born with cleft of lip and soft palate and also had a heart murmor for the first year of his life. Genetic testing was performed in new orleans la to determine if the cleft was a hereditary case. Test results revealed that my sons case was said to be an isolated case meaning that he was not born with this birth defect from hereditary reasons. For many years i have struggled with the mental issue of what did i do to cause this to my child? Now, i strongly feel that i have finally got an answer!!! ZOFRAN CAUSES CLEFT LIP, CLEFT PALATE AND HEART DEFECTS!!!! I WISH TO GOD SOMEBODY WOULD HAVE TOLD ME BECAUSE I COULD HAVE PREVENTED MY SON FROM BEING BORN WITH ALL THREE OF THE KNOWN BIRTH DEFECTS CAUSED FROM TAKING ZOFRAN.

I have been taking it since I found out I was pregnant and I am still taking it and is now 26 weeks...I just recently found out it causes birth defects such as heart problems and cleft palate/lip...I am kind of scared to continue to taking it but I can't go a day without it or I am sick

I'm 26 weeks and I still take 8mg regularly.

I took 8 mg every 8 hours round the clock for my whole first trimester. I was sick as a dog. Finally at about 14 weeks I was taking it like every other day maybe, and the. By 16 weeks I didn't need it anymore. I'm now 35 weeks at 5 days and haven't needed it at all. Just lots and lots of tums.

I had to take it every 6 hours from 10 weeks up until about 22 weeks, then just once a day was fine. I am now 38 weeks and take it only as needed.

I had to take it everyday from 6 weeks to 13 weeks!
