Has anyone ever gotten pregnant after they got the iud out?

Zo_
I have recently gotten my mirena (iud) taken out because me and my husband are trying to conceive.

Had my Mirenia IUD taken out in July, trying to get pregnant. It's now October so three months of trying and nothing yet. Good luck!

According to Mirena's manufacturer your cycle should return to normal and you're able to conceive very soon after removal. When I had my first Mirena removed after five years, I remained off bc for almost two years because I wanted to regain a normal menstrual cycle. It only took my body a couple months to return to a regular cycle.

But you know, some people conceive even WITH the Mirena in! Rare, but it does happen.
