My recent period was just this: Spotting pink June 27th, June 18th I began a light bleed of bright red until June 30th, then I had spotting of pink July 1st and it stopped. We had sex on these days up until period: June 25th, 26th, 28th, 29th, 30th and 1st because it was so light and my app claimed I was in my fertile window during the 23rd to the 28th which kind of explains the intense amount of cervical mucus I experienced but I'm unsure of whether this is possible prior to getting my period officially the 29th. We then had sex July 2nd, 3rd, I spotted a little on the 4th, had sex the 5th, 7th and 8th so far. I am now CD 11 today and my period track is claiming my fertile window starts tomorrow the 10th. Which we will be having sex again.
All OPKs I have taken so far have given me the following results: Light T line around 9am, Kinda dark around 12-1pm and then dark but not as dark or darker than Control line when I do my evening testing at 6pm. I started testing on CD5 because of my extremely short period. I also stopped my birth control 2 weeks prior to my period. Now, I know I'm testing alot, I was just trying to get a feel of everything to see how different they are by the day and time I take them. I have since opted into only testing at night for now.
Now, when normally do women get their peak positive opks? When should I test at night to get an accurate as it can get result?
I do have PCOS but I am testing with OPKS before I even consider temping.
Also, by having sex before - during and as frequent as we have recently, could this still increase our chances in possibly conceiving this month even if I miss testing and see my surge or stop testing too early and may miss the surge completely because of the fact? I know sperm can last up to 5 days. This is why I am curious.
