I have pcos as well and have never had regular periods. With my first child, I was taking metformin and using ovulation kits. I am now pregnant with my second child. This time I tried clomid (with no success) then switched to letrozole. I was about to go back to taking metformin, but found out I was pregnant. It is very difficult when you barely ever ovulate. Good luck!

Get the all clear from your doc then maybe start tracking your ovulation/period cycle to start. I'm sorry for your loss and wish you good luck:)
