So confused, please help.

Hi

Both myself and my partner have been trying for a baby for almost 3 years. It's been horrendous as we suffered two miscarriages and every month we grieved for something we never even had. I am 8+ weeks pregnant. At first I was overjoyed and for weeks couldn't stop smiling. Today I cannot help but think 'what am I doing!!! I should say at this point that I'm 44 and feel I'm to old! Is it normal to think like this as we want nothing more than to have a child. I feel so guilty.

I have been reading the comments I believe I have been through all the above emotions. I'm currently 42. Has anyone has any negative comments from doctors. I just found out on Monday I was pregnant. My first OB appointment is Monday.  Also what can I expect.

Tell your little one once she is here that mommy and daddy tried and didn't give up, to have him/her. Now that's true strong parents that she's grateful to have!

You are not too old! Don't think that. During my pregnancy I had my ups and downs about whether I was ready for parenthood. Some days I would think wow, and some days I would think wtf? Lol it's tough but you'll get through it. You've tried so hard and now you'll finally get your wish. Be strong and look forward to holding your little one!

I felt the same way Im 43 and thought wait Im preganat and naturally. But Im very happy now. It has been a struggle money wise (I lost my job after I found out) but know now everything will be alright. Because God blessed us with this little girl and he will provide. We definitely all have freak outs,  that's totally normally. My husband freaked a bit with this one too. I'm 34 and he's 43 so he's feeling like he's too old. Our other kids are 14 and 8. But he's pretty excited now.  You'll be fine mama:) Congratulations!

Don't worry, we all have our freak out 'what was I thinking' moments...even when it's a planned and prayed for pregnancy! At least that's how I reassure myself. You aren't too old and you'll do great! Congrats!
