Trying to get pregnant any advice

I'm 25 I've been trying to get pregnant for over a year, my periods are usually regular although last month I didn't get my period for the whole month went to doctors..not pregnant. Dr thinks it was stress that caused me to miss period. Just got period last week. Any ideas to help get pregnant? Maybe I'm just trying to hard.

I heard taking prenatal vitamins help neither of mine were planned so I can't really tell you what to really do nd track your ovulation cycle they sell ovulation strips to tell you when you're ovulating

I also tracked my period with an app. with my 2nd baby. On the day it said I was ovulating I took an ovulation test (you can buy them at most stores, even the Dollar Tree), it was positive. A month later I had a positive pregnancy test. With my current pregnancy, we decided to get pregnant so I started tracking my period. I took an ovulation test when the app said it thought I was ovulating and it was negative. Few weeks latet I got my period. Next month I took an ovulation test again when my app said I was ovulating. Again it was negative. But since the app can be wrong on which day I ovulate (it's usually close but not 100%), we decided to try every few days. Next month I was pregnant! It only took 3 tries with my 2nd baby and 2 tries with my 3rd. The apps are awesome!

You might want to try just forgetting about it. This is my 3rd. With my first we tried and tried it took me a year I stressed us both out. Once I said forget it I'll never get pregnant! I did! With my 2nd she was unplanned I was having fun going out with my man and living it up and surprise!!!! I got pregnant then I tried for another one took me a year to get pregnant and saddly ended at 5wks in miscarriage 6 months later with out thinking about it or charting my temp or checking my cervical mucus I got pregnant again I'm now 24wks.. so in my experience not thinking and stressing over it really works!! Good luck!!! :)

After being told I may never get pregnant due to cervical scarring and a very tilted indepth cervix I was determined too! My hubby and I tried for a few months after having my IUD removed plus I was taking prenatals, changing my diet, and only having sex every other day as recommended. I downloaded several fertility apps to try and get a good baseline and my days app ended up being on target and my favorite app. Finally after months of unsuccessful attempts one night I went a different route. After having sex with my hubby I masturbated. I know it sounds weird and frankly its not easy considering you've just orgasmed several times to get yourself to orgasm once more but im a firm believer this is what worked for me. It gives the sperm the extra lubricant to swim up to where they need to be without your significant others man junk poking, blocking, and prodding down there. I hope you have success soon!

I highly recommend reading "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" and charting your cycle you see your peak fertile days.

Get high quality digital ovulation tests. Apps will tell you that you ovulate halfway through your cycle, but that isn't true of every woman. I ovulate a week after my period, which is a week earlier than my period app said I should be ovulating. Start taking a prenatal now as well, and minimize caffeine and alcohol. If you go any more than a couple additional months without success I would see a fertility specialist. Good luck!!

If you aren't already take folic acid supplements. It's proven to increase your chances.

Stress is a big factor. My hubby and i had tried for over a year before we got married. I was super stressed out at the time planning a wedding, student teaching full time, and working full time. Stress just does weird things to your body. Day after wedding i had my period (2 weeks late mind you) week after wedding we went on our honeymoon, missed my next period. Ultrasound confirmed a honeymoon baby. I laugh now cuz i am more than sure my body was so excited about being stress free that it released an egg early and was like oh well. My advice is to try and take a weekend just you guys, by yourself, with no electronics and just enjoy each others company. Dont put pressure on yourself to "make a baby" just relax, take your mind off of doing anything and do something fun.

Stress def doesn't help. Me and my boyfriend tried for months, ovulation kits/apps, no sex days before ovulating, he stopped drinking, we literally read about it for days until one day I decided it'd be best to stop trying it drove us too crazy! He agreed that same night I found out I was pregnant lol. So try to stress less!

I used Kindara to track ovulation.  I was a little stressed out the first month just trying to make sure my body was doing what it was supposed to be doing.  When I saw that everything followed expected patterns, I tracked the next month and timed the BD right, but didn't worry.  It can often take months so I went into it expecting that it might be several cycles....and poof, pregnant!  It also coincidentally had been a more than normal amount of days for hubby since "releasing the troops" on his own, he so I also think I had a nice healthy "dose".  I think it's all about the expectations we create for ourselves which relief the stress/pressure.

Eat healthy foods lots of greens and dairy products. Try hitting the gym or excersice frequently and relax. Have frequent sex don't over do it,  it weakens the sperm quality

That's what I did before i knew it I was pregnant.

I had given up when I found out I was pregnant

With our second it too us over 10 months to conceive, every month I would be counting down the days till my period was due hoping to miss it and feeling completely heartbroken every time it came. The one month I decided not even to note the day my period came or to work out when I was ovulating (if basically gave up trying), my and my bf just had sex when we wanted not when I thought I could get pregnant and amazingly I fell pregnant that month.
I honestly believe that I put far to much pressure on myself and that and the stress and upset caused it to take so long. Just try not to think about it, have nights out with your partner, enjoy yourself and stop over thinking it. Good luck to you.

I used an app, even though both were unplanned, it tells you when you're most likely to ovulate and less. So when I got pregnant,  looked at the app, was like yup, no wonder.  Is called "My Days"

My pregnancy wasn't planned, so I can't give you planning advice but I've heard the more you stress the harder it is to become pregnant.
