Finally Pregnant!

So Hubby and I got married in April 2016, we already have a nine year old son together. Prior to that I had been on microgynon (contraceptive) consistently for at least 5 years. I stopped taking it in March - hubby and I wanted to see what happened after the wedding but we always wanted to conceive in the 1st year of marriage given the age gap to our first. I was told it will take 6 months to a year for the contraceptive to clear out of my system given how long I'd been on it. By August we still weren't pregnant so I started tracking my ovulation. I thought we were in September but I tested negative. My cycle is super regular - maybe no more than a day out from the app prediction. My fertile window was just after New Years, we made love 2 days before ovulation and 1 day after and I tested today and I'm 2-3 weeks pregnant according to the Clearblue digital test. So exciting and so grateful! X

Sorry, I meant that for DemurEst.
Thank you so much! Nausea isn't as bad as it was with my son so it's been pretty okay so far!
You're very welcome. This is an old wives tale but I found it to be true with me. The less nausea you have the more chance it is that you're going to have a little girl. Both of my sisters had boys, 5 between them, and they had terrible nausea. Like I said, it's an old wives take but I think they're fun. Of course we all pray for a healthy baby no matter if it's boy or a girl. Try saltines and Gingerale if you do get nauseous. Have you started your baby tracker on here yet? It's a fun thing to do so you can count down the days and weeks. Congratulations to you again Sweetie.

Can you please give us more information? How many days did this happen after you had sex? If it was one to five days then it could have been implantation bleeding. Meaning the embryo was attaching to the uterus.
Have you missed your period? If so, then take a pregnancy test. If you haven't missed your period yet you can still try an early pregnancy test.
