I have been diagnosed with PCOS a month ago. I already have a 4 year old. I've been trying to get pregnant since June of 2014. I was put on metformin. So far it's working because I finally got my period after 4 months of not having it. My question is...has anybody gone through PCOS and and tried getting pregnant? I'm so discouraged. I want a baby so bad and its getting to me. Help please!

I have PCOS and am currently 37 weeks pregnant. I was on different birth controls on and off trying to regulate my hormones for about a year when it just sort of happened.

How is your weight? I know that is extremely personal but as you lose weight with PCOS, it minimizes the negative impacts it can cause, including infertility.

Overall stay positive and don't over think it. Take time to "date" your partner. You have to have the romance and excitement between the two of you first and foremost. A lot of couples get lost in their efforts and lose sight of the love.

I'll keep you and your efforts in my thoughts and prayers ♡♡♡

I was diagnosed with Pcos and I'm now 27 weeks pregnant. I got pregnant with clomid 50 mg on the first cycle. I had little or no period. Doctors saying i might not get pregnant. It can work. Have faith. If metformin doesn't work, ask your doctor about clomid.

I have had friends with PCOS who have conceived.  They do often prescribe clomid along with the other meds to help things along so talk to your doctor about that.  It takes longer but it CAN happen.  peace and hang in there!
