Hi All,

I am 30 weeks and 2 days pregnant with twins and for 2 nights now around 1 am till 4 am having this cramps every 15 min intervals. After 3 to 4 hrs it stopped.Its not painful but it keeps me awake all night.I am bleeding nor have a discharged .Thank God.Its just that Iam so worried.The babies are moving ok as well.Is this Braxtion Hicks or real labour?Please help.

Hi,
I also had contractions on my 25 th week it was very painful I couldn't even talk that time. I went to hospital and they gave me meds to relax my uterus every other thing was fine I was there for few hours in observation and came back. Nowadays my doc just check my cervix and BP . She says just take it easy and don't worry with twins it is a common things ha ha.

Hi All,

Thanks for all the advised.I went to the hospital 2 days ago and the doc said I am not in labour.My cervix is closed and its still on 1.3 cm.I am not leaking or anything so they sent me home.They said to watch out if there is any discharged and the contraction is every 5 min.Then I would need to go there again.So far the contraction stops I can feel it sometimes but not often.Thank God.Iam just praying that my babies will hang on there for another 4 weeks or so.They did not give me any meds.Sleeping is hard now but cant complain.Again thank you.

Well, I have been to L and D two times with those darn things!!!  Very important, to at least call your doctor and let them know.  If more than 6 in 1 hour you need to go in.  They may tell you to drink a glass of water, take a tylenol and lay down.  This helped, but I was still concerned and went in.  Everything was ok.  They did give me meds to relax the uterus, so if you are a big no medicine type gal I would just keep this in mind.  I am at 33 weeks with twins, and I went in around 29 weeks and again at 31 weeks.  yep, this is the time you will start feeling them.  Keep us posted!

Hey first of all congrats to you!  30 wks along with twins, that's great.  I definitely think a call to your doctor is in order.  Be persistent because you need to be seen.  This started happening to me and I was also leaking water.  I went in, they checked me and said I was fine but I KNEW something was going on and that I was leaking water, the very next morning my water broke.
I was 35 wks 4 days along but the cramping started a couple weeks before that, especially when I would walk my dogs.

I was having that... I went to the doctor and my cervix was thinning some and I was on cm dilated so I am on bedrest now and got steriod injections for the babies lungs... my doctor says I am fine now... On medicine to calm my uterus..but he thinks I wont go past 34 weeks. Let your doctor know and get a check up
