Hi,

you can definitely get pregnant with hypothyroid.  I have complete thyroid failure (treated) and am now pregnant with my second.

Buit you must make sure your TSH is optimal (1 - 2) and you must make sure the FT3 and FT4 are in middle to upper half of the range.

If you do get pregnant you should have your thyroid levels tested every month and your FT3 and FT4 should be kept (by medication adjustments) at the top of the reference ranges.

Hope this helps.

Not to upset you, but i have had hypothyroidism since 2006 and i am on 125mg Thyroxine. Im not having no success of pregnancy, but thats not to say the same could happen to you as everybody is different. Ask your doctor to send you to the hospital fertility for help.
