HCG problem!!

I badly needed your help! Here's my situation.. I'm almost 1 month and 13 days delayed. My aunt flow is always regular.. and I don't have any issues of hormonal imbalance or amenorrhea. And I know, I'm pregnant because I'm experiencing some pregnancy symptoms. Well, I already consulted a doctor and she just said that I'm under observation. My problem is my hcg cannot be detected by hpt, and I also did a blood test but still negative. Is there some cases that a women is pregnant but her hcg cannot be detected or maybe low? Well! I have read some articles about it. Help!

Just spoke to my mate and she said it was even later that her first showed up with a blood test. Almost half way through. He is now a healthy 2 and a half year old. :)

A friend of mine didn't show up with any urine test (home or doctors) for her first pregnancy or current pregnancy. Neither did the first blood tests. It finally showed up on a blood test at about 13 weeks with the current pregnancy and was around 9 weeks with the first. Hope that helps a little.
