how do you spend you day with twins?

My twins are now 19m. At times they get a handful, but mostly they are pretty calm girls. But I wanted to find out how do you ladies spend time with them, as far as your daily routine. For me sometimes, it seems that the day went by and I got no time to rest, everything revolves around the girls and that just takes up all the time, sometimes nothing gets done. They take 2 naps, 1hr each in morning and afternoon but sometimes the afternoon nap time is spent trying to get Tanisha to nap (she can be hard for afternoon nap). So I try to cook in the morning everyday. They like to watch Barney, mommy & me, Sesame St so I do sometimes have them watch while I do housework, but too much TV is not good either. We play together also inbetween. Would love to find out how you spend your time with your twins. Thanks.

oh it took us FOREVER to get these 2 in their routine. i think they got it down by 9-10 months. the hardest was getting them to sleep in their own cribs and not with mommy and daddy. the good thing is now they sleep in their own beds, the bad this is they ONLY sleep in their own beds...lol.

Holy cow you are super mommy!!  I LOVE your routine.  My twins are just over 3 months now.  We are getting them into a routine but when they want to take a nap right before "bed time" it is sooo hard to try and keep them awake.
I printed your schedule off and I'm going to put it on my fridge :-) for when my babies are older

my guys are 13 months old.

here is how our daily routine tends to go (we try to stick to it as much as possible...it's easiest for us and them)

6-8 am is wake up. they get diaper changes, clothes changed, their morning milk and breakfast.

8-10 am we play in the bedroom/playroom (their bedroom and playroom are connected so we leave the door open and they just run laps between the two.)

10-12 am nap time

12 lunch time

1 pm-4 pm we play, watch a movie, go for a walk, to the park

4 pm - 5 pm nap

5pm dinner

5:30 pm bath

6 pm -9/10 pm play, movie

9-10 pm bedtime.

that's a typical day for us. of course when we go shopping, visiting grandparents and what not it changes but like i said they're used to their routine so we try to stick to it.
