Travel during pregnancy

Hi ,

My wife is only 7 weeks of pregnant , so sometimes weekly once she needs to do road travel by bus or train for 11/2 to 2hrs. Is it really harmful for early time of pregnancy? ( first three months ) . becasue she is working lady.

Please advice or suggest.

Regards
Saud

I was told that if I was travelling for more than an hour, I needed to get out and walk around for about 5-10 minutes after each hour.  Also, to make sure I was drinking lots of water to prevent dehydration.

I would not think so.  You might want to ask her Dr. or get on the Dr. forum on this site.
