Congrats!!its the best experience I have!!!expect from anything to everything during and after pregnancy.but be prepare that it is possible that they arrive early....mine arrived at 32 weeks and are now 4month old very healthy little one!!get help if you can but make sure you are the one in "charge" and u do what YOU feel right for u and ur family. careful that the help is actually helpful!!!!i struggled with and ended up with more on my shoulder.....other than that makebsure that u and hubby always encourage each other....thats what we do and it help us as a couple and parents to know that we trust each other!!I have no issue to leave him alone while im going dhopping, gym etc......allocate time for u and him once babies are at home.
Congrats!! Did they tell you whether they were mono/di, di/ di, or mono/mono? You will get more monitoring with any multiples but monochorionic twins will cause them to monitor more closely for twin to twin transfusion syndrome ( ttts). My mono/do girls are 7 weeks old now. I had a great pregnancy other than some bad swelling and pain at the end. I delivered at 36 weeks, it was difficult because I was induced but wouldn't dialate past 3, so after 21 hours I had a csection.
Twins are the greatest!! Lots of work but I love every minute of it and you will too! Rest and enjoy your pregnancy!
Congratulations! Mine are now 2 1/2 (they turn 3 in December) and enjoy every moment, pregnancy included! Listen to your doctor, rest lots (if you're able to) and I hope you have a smooth time through delivery. :) And definitely accept help when they come home! It will take some time to get a routine (which was my life saver!), but savor them as infants. Time flies!
We drove all of our family and friends crazy because we wouldn't find out. It didn't bother us though. It was the greatest suprise ever when they were announcing what we were having in the operating room. :). I had to tell my doc everytime we had an u/s "remember, we don't want to know!", just so he wouldn't slip and tell us...lol.
I am so excited for you!!!
Oh, and if you can....please pease please....line up help for when you bring your bundles of joys home. You will need it!!!
Lol we Havnt decided yet were just going to ask if there same sex maybe
That's great!!! Oh yes, your tummy needs to make lots of room for those little ones :). Are you going to find out what you are having? We didn't. It was fun not knowing :)
Coming up to 14 weeks only have pain in the adomin which is apparently stretching pain
Congrats on your twins! :). You will prob be monitored a little closer by your doctor. I have never been pregnant with a singleton, but my pregnancy was pretty text book. I had no swelling or edema, gained 29lbs, no real issues. I carried till 36wks and 2 days.
Make sure you drink tons if water, and listen to your body. If it says rest, rest.
How far along are you??
