where will the twins sleep

Hi.  We're having twins and I'm having trouble figuring out where will the twins sleep.  This is my second pregnancy and already have 1 crib but there's no room for a second crib.  Any advise?

I just might be pregnant with twins. :)  I have my first u/s next week.  I'm a really proactive person so I am starting to read into how all of this is going to work.  I have three kids, 13, 11 and 7, and this will be all new to me!  I was actually reading that sleeping them in the same crib as long as possible is ideal.  I heard they are very well behaved that way and easily calmed.

My 7 year old daughter has no one to play with as her brothers are older, and, well, boys!  So, as scared as I am to have two at the same time, at least they will always have someone to play with.....

Hi,
My boy/girl twins are now 5 months, and they love sleeping in the same cot. We only have the one cot, but plan on getting another soon. They hold hands while they sleep, and sleep 12 hours at night. I have a feeling that soon as they are in separate cots, I can kiss their 12 hour sleep goodbye. I plan on putting the second cot next to the first one, so they can still see each other. My girl is rolling now, but if you sleep them in those sleeping bags, they don't move around in the cot- they stay in the one spot. We had been hoping to get away with not having to buy a second cot, but babies get too big, too quick! Hope this has been helpful :)

I have twins that are 3 months old and have slept together in the same crib since they came home.  I would say based on their behavior together, they may last another month and then move on to seperate cribs.  We tried the pack and plays, but they do not like sleeping in them.  I just don't think they are as comfortable as a crib.

I had twins 3 months ago and they started out sleeping in bassinets. Noe they slepp in their own cribs.  They also make pack and plays that you can covert into a cgancing tacle/bassinett...maybe get 2 of those?
