no problem. if it continues call his pedi just to be sure. my guys growth spurts tend to last 1-2 weeks and they slept 16-18 hours/day. they'd get up have breakfast, sleep, get up for lunch and play for about an hour, sleep, get up for dinner/bath/play all together about 2-3 hours then back to sleep. i enjoyed the mommy time but boy oh boy did i miss my guys. lol.

he could be going through a growth spurt. my boys can sleep up to 18 hours a day when they are in a spurt. it's completely normal. if you are worried you can call his pedi to let him/her know and get him checked out but i'd say it's a growth spurt.
