I agree. After a period, you're not pregnant though in rare cases of twins you can pass one while the other remains. My youngest was a twin. But your ARE a minor. You should finish school. You ever watch the drama on teen mom? It's way worse when the camera isn't rolling. I had my oldest son when I was 21 and even I was too young. I didn't feel ready. I think seeing a therapist would benefit you. Here's what you have to ask yourself...why do you want a baby? I'm not asking you to tell us...I'm asking you to think about it to yourself.

Ask yourself these other questions as well. Will you get a job after delivery? If not who will support the baby? Because welfare and wicc only cover so much. How will you get to your appointments or to the babies appointments? What will you do for daycare/sitter? What about the father...what will be his role?

There's more to a baby than unconditional love. Having a baby especially before you're ready is hard. Financially stable, responsible 30 yr old parents have rough times with a baby.

I wish you nothing but the best. Just do yourself a real favor and think about it first. Don't let you're want for a baby blind you from thinking of a baby's needs.

There really shouldn't be anymore questions, the only thing you should be doing at this point is taking a test. And if its negative, again your not pregnant.

Implantation bleeding is a VERY small amount. You CAN'T get your PERIOD while being pregnant. It is not possible, listen to the ladies telling you this. Even your doctor will tell you you can't be pregnant with a period. Some woman bleed yes. But its not there period, just because you talked to people does not mean you are. The only way you will know is if you take a test and go to your doctor. Didn't you say you already took a test and it was negative, sorry honey but I highly doubt your pregnant

I had what I thought was a regular period in november, it came on time etc, the only thing I noticed that was different about it was that it was heavier and longer than normal and I didnt get my usual pmt with it, I also noticed small rice sized clots as well which I never have, for some reason I tested 3 days later and got a positive on a hpt, so while I couldnt technically then say it was my period, I had shed an awful lot of by lining and couldnt understand how I could still be pregnant with so much bleeding.  Women can get period like note the like, bleeding all the way through the first trimester when their period would usually be due, some can have it right thru their pregnancies, and as ashleen said it is usually due to hormonal levels, nothing is standard when bleeding occours when pregnant, for some light spotting can lead to miscarriage, for others like me you can have a huge bleed and everything can continue as normal, it should be noted that while bleeding in early pregnancy is fairly common, it is not considered normal, so for you the only way to know for sure is to either do a hpt, or go to your doctor for a blood test :)

decidual bleeding is something that occurs because of hormones during pregnancy and can appear to be your period, right down to occurring regularly and starting and stopping like a period. BUT it is NOT your period. if you were to have your period, the lining of your uterus would shed along with the egg and the pregnancy would miscarry. So any bleeding during pregnancy is not a period, but could be another type of bleeding.

If you had a PERIOD your not pregnant, when you have a period you shed out the egg and lining inside your uterus which means your not pregnant. And if your 17 I Truely recommend not to TRY to become pregnant. No matter how much you think your ready, and you think he is ready lol honey trust me your not. And like a previous poster said men mature later than us. And he isn't ready for what would come out of this. It's a hard thing to deal with and you only being 17 will have a lot of bodily changes and your hormones will be off the roof. I'm 19 and 21 weeks and pretty mature and still having trouble dealing with my hormones, and so is my boyfriend who is also 19. It's a big step and putting your parents under that pressure wouldn't be a good idea either. You might wanna make sure you have your own house and are financially stable for a child or your gonna have one hell of a ride.

Listen I'm not trying to be that lady but seriously consider not having a baby I was 20 when I had my first and for a while it was still hard to accept the fact that I didn't come first. Be you for a while before you try to raise someone else. You should enjoy your own place before you have to have a home for a family. Be a child baby there's no rush to have children and that boy may love you and might like the idea of having a baby but remember we mature faster than them so even if you're ready (which you're probably not) he probably isn't. I am not judging just some friendly advice

I'm just curious how you found out you still might be pregnant. After you have your cycle you generally know you're not pregnant. I mean you're either pregnant or you're not

Under 18 she is still legally a minor in the United States. There are 4 states where age of majority is 18-21 and none lower than 18. Age of consent is not the same as age of majority.

My friend had spotting like a period for 6 months and she was pregnant. Did you take a test first and second did you see a doctor? Third not to be rude or assume anything but when in nursing school learned that some street drug can cause a false pos on a home test.

Please remember as well if you're not (as we talked about on your previous post) we can not give you advice on how to get pregnant, as you're still a minor. We can answer questions, but nothing pertaining to TTC and things to do or when to try.
