milk production ALREADY???

I'm 20 weeks tomorrow, and the past few days I wasn't sure, but thought there was liquid in my nipples. I felt it again tonight and decided to squeeze. Sure enough, there is colostrum already coming out. I'm pretty sure that's what it is. My husband was in awe and thought the whole thing was hilarious. I, however, am not too happy with my overachieving breasts right now. I'm checking with the doctor tomorrow to make sure this is normal, cause nowhere in my pregnancy books or the ones I bought my husband does it say that I should already be producing. Anyone with a similar experience?

I have to wear bra pads in my padded bras or it will go thru my bra and show. Mine leak all the time and it's a pretty good amount. It's normal. depending on the women, you may leak more or less.

I haven't had to wear nursing pads yet.  They don't leak a lot. If I squeeze them it will come out and when I wake up I can tell that they had leaked because it's dried on my nipples but my shirt has never been wet.

I don't think I'm going to enjoy waking up with a sticky shirt. Did you have to start wearing nursing pads? This is all so weird cause I hardly even look pregnant yet. Plus, my husband won't stop trying to get me to let him squeeze them. What a weirdo I ended up with, lol.

I've been producing colostrum since 22 weeks. I am now 35 weeks and it hasn't stopped.  It is normal so don't worry. I asked the doctor when it first started and she said that it was normal. Some women don't ever leak at all and some do.
