My doctor said my son was 5 lbs and 8 oz , hes gunna be smalll but healthy!  On the bright side, we won't have to push out a big baby :)

If your doctor wasn't concerned, I'm sure everything is fine. Babies gain up to 1/2 a pound a week in the last week's so since you have 2-3 weeks left your baby should be close to 7 pounds at birth which is good. Also ultrasound can be off by up to a pound so I wouldn't worry too much. Good luck!

I got checked a couple days ago at 38+1 and she was estimated 6 lbs 8 oz which they said was exactly average. At 38 weeks baby averages between 6.5-7 according to docs. But they're not always accurate! Your baby could be a little bigger than what they're measuring :)

I'm 38 weeks and my doctor said my daughter weighs about 6 pounds 3 oz. it can be off though and I wouldn't worry if your doctor isn't :)

I think that's small for being almost 38 weeks ....
But if your dr isn't concern then I wouldn't worry :) besides ultrasounds can be off a little . & you have like 3 weeks more left , baby can put on some weight still .

Sometimes the weight can be off a pound. At 35 weeks I was told mine was 6lbs14oz

At 33 weeks my little one was measuring 4lbs 11ounces. All babies are different though, like she said as long as your doctor wasn't concerned I wouldn't be either

Last Friday I was 35weeks 5days and mine was estimated to weigh 7-8pounds..but if your doctor wasn't concerned im sure your babys fine..plus it is just an estimate
