? for ladies who had a baby shower already

I am looking up ideas for my baby shower. Were having  a girl and i was wondering what was the best thing you did for yours? What themes did you use? how about games? any ideas are appreciated!

I had two showers because my family and friends live far away from each other. One was pink skull baby themed (kinda punkish). The other was Sweet baby pink themed with pokadots. my favorite games were gift bingo where guests filed out a bingo sheet with what gifts they thought I'd receive andtry to get a bingo. There was one where everyone got a necklace (necklaces had pink diaper pins on them) and no one was aloud to say "baby" if they did someonecould take their necklace. most necklaces won. Cyclone rattles was two sets of two 2 liter bottles taped together with gumballs in them. goal was to flip it upside down andhave races to see who could get all the gumballs to the one side fastest. all the games had a small giftbag forthe winner. everyone had a really good time.

With my daughter we did the new arrival stork theme with pinks and light greens. A game everyone got a kick out of was we took different candy bars and melted it a little in diapers and had people look and smell to  guess the type of candy bar. Another game i did was putting pink diaper pins in a large bottle shaped piggy bank had people guess how many for a prize. And i did the classic guess how big moms belly is ppl cut yarn to the length they think will fit around your waist.Hope this helps :) good luck

I had a monkey theme since that's is what her room is.  And the colors were purple and light green.  Im trying to stay away from pink
