A yeast infection?? I just got over a bladder infection and now have a yeast infection, joy :( really hate going to the doctors unless nessasary, cured them myself before but need to know what  is safe for the baby. Any suggestions would be great, please & thankful... oh ya i do have monistate cream left from previous times, is it safe to use??

im suffering with bronchitis I wont take anti boitics cos I always get infections. im nearly better. urine and yeast infections omg I cant stand them!!! ill do any thing to prevent them. I know taking probiotic yogurht and pills help get rid of it.

I know this all sounds gross butn if you have a tampon you could put some plain yogert on it and freeze it for a little bit and stick it in, its safe while pregnant and cheaper than monistat. Or you could take a clove of garlic and make little slices in it but don't cut it and after that you can put it in a gause and put it up there. Its all natural and very safe while pregnant, and not that expensive too.

I know its a yeast infections, I've had many in my life. I will call my midwife tomorrow and see what she thinks is best. Thankyou ladies for suggestions and advice!

Call ur doc to b sure what to do u don't have to go in unless they say to that's what i did nd they told me to just use monistate seven day cream so just give them a quick call :)

You need antibiotics your doctor will tests you to make sure this is what you have. In the mean time you can eat and use plain yogurt to help with the itching or you can buy vagisil cream or wipes to help, but please see a doctor it could be something else and you won't know for sure unless you get checked out and you don't want to harm your baby.

You can use tge monistat 7 day treatment anything with a higher dose is not recommended

I agree with Lilseamonkey,  but also sharply limiting your sugar intake would help a lot to stop your yeast infection.  Yeast thrive on sugar,  and if you cut carbs (candy, cake,  breads) you can make it go away.

If it's not expired then go ahead and use it, that's what dr will tell you to get anyways. I'm not too sure about any home remedies though, I've always used monistat
