2 Months late, negative blood test.

I'm 20 years old and my last period was September 27th through October 2nd. I took 2 home pregnancy tests 2 weeks after I was late, both were negative. 2 more weeks had past no period, went and had a blood test, it came back negaive. It's been two months and two days, I have yet to see a period. My nipples are very sore, to the point where it hurts to wear a bra or sleep on my stomach. I don't know if it's due to where I had a 35 lb cyst on my ovary when I was 15 or not. But, this is the latest I've ever bee. What is wrong with me? Please help!

Well, I finally went to the doctor and I wasn't pregnant. He told me that it was like I started my period without any blood? He put me on provera and now, I won't stop bleeding. Well, I start bleeding everytime I have sex. I dunno anymore.

definately would go to the dr, hopefully its nothing maybe stress...

With myself - I have pcos - and get my periods every few months, unless they are induced. Do you have any other symptoms - I would go and ask for some hormone testing, LH, FSH, Progesterone, Oestrogen, testosterone, especially if your actively ttc. but for health reasons you shouldnt go longer then 3 months without a period, you should be perscribed something like provera (progesterone) to enduce AF every 3 months... maybe she just needs good ol' kick start? good luck

You should go to the Doc to get yourself checked, it might be another cyst or something else. Good luck!

Yes my periods are regular, but no all the time. Maybe 2 or three months out of the year, it will be 1 or 2 days late, but never this late. Thanks for the reply.

I believe indeed that if the blood test came back negative, then you are not pregnant, Do you have regular periods? You might have another cyst on your ovary or might not be ovualting. I think you should make an appt with your doctor to get an Ultra Sound! God bless you!
