Hi!
If you were my patient, the first thing I would do is a pregnancy test. If negative, I would then give you 5 days of progesterone. I would wait to see if this caused you to have a menstrual period. If yes, I would investigate some common hormone levels such as TSH and prolactin as well as 17 oh progesterone. If you did not have a period, my next step would be ultrasound to rule out any type of obstruction to the menstrual flow. This can sometimes be caused by cervical biopsies.
Hope this helps!

I am also a healthy 24 year old and had similar issues. I went 3 months with no period but was not pregnant. I ended up having an ultra sound to check for cycts/PCOS but I was clear. I then had blood taked and it turend out I have very low levels of Progesterone. My husband and I are not TTC so I am on my first round of clomid. If your progesterone is too low you will not ovulate...which means in turn, you will not get your period. Even if youre not trying to get pregnant my Dr. said its not healthy to go too long with out a period so she gave me Provera to bring it on. Hope that helps!
sorry I typed that so wrong and didnt proof read. sorry for the typos and I meant we ARE trying to conceive.
