3-5 weeks

I am not sure how far I am my doctors appointment isn't until the 6th. But I had some bleeding today, not like a period or even heavily,  but not lite pink either.  & they told me I have threatened miscarriage . What can I do to make sure I do everything in my power to keep my baby. & how likely is it my baby will make it.

Thank you both very much. Maybe I'm just scared because im a first time mommy. I didn't know it was normal to have spotting.

Stay positive! There's nothing you can do to prevent it if something's wrong, but I had mild spotting for weeks and then at 10 weeks found blood in my panties and rushed to the ER. I was sure we had lost the baby. I was diagnosed with a threatened miscarriage, too, but here I am 15 weeks with a perfect baby. <3 Some women spot early on, like I did. And you may be early enough to still have implantation spotting, or possibly a little bleeding as the placenta takes hold, too. For now, take your prenatal vitamins if you have any, and take it easy. :) Relax. Even if something bad happens this pregnancy, you're most likely to have a perfect one the next try. <3

There truly isn't anything you can do to prevent it at this point, because you are so early. But take it easy and try and rest. One day I took a nap and when I woke up went pee and there was so much blood in the toilet I thought for sure I had lost the baby. I called the clinic and the nurse said take it easy and rest, but it was a threatened miscarriage. I am now 33 weeks. Good luck. :)
