3 Past miscarriages and Pregnant

In the past 6 years I have had 3 miscarriages with no cause found. Recently I found out I was pregnant again. I really do not want to lose this baby as well. I have no live births just 3 past miscarriage all ranging between 5-6 weeks. Does anyone know my chances of this pregnancy working out and having a baby?

Hi!
Your doctor did what I would have done, with the aspirin and progesterone.
You may want to have a progesterone level done at some point.
If they can see a heartbeat on the ultrasound, there is a VERY GOOD chance that the pregnancy will continue ( even despite the first 3).
Some doctors might consider giving you blood thinners or steriods too, ( I would NOT do that myself) but most would probably not use them.
I hope it all works out!

I have had a lot of blood work done, the doctors say everything looks fine just could be bad luck. This pregnancy I have been put on asprin and progesterone with the doctor saying it won't hurt and could help. I went yesterday for my first sonogram everything looks good so far but its still early. I pray this pregnancy works out. Good luck with your next pregnancy I hope everything works out well for you and your husband =)

hi, i have had 3 natural m/c and an ectopic all within 5-7weeks,  i have recently seen a specialist who deals with recurrent miscarriages and he sending me for tests ie- blood clotting dieases, hormone inbalances, thyroid etc. he said to me all early m/c (before 12 wks) is nothing that the mother could have prevented , it could be as easy as taking aspiran as soon as u get pregnant ( to thin the blood) . he said even if my tests come back positive then it can be treated so my advise to u is go and see ur gp and ask for a referral letter to see a specialist. i was at my wits end and thought it could never be possible and there was something wrong with me, but this has given me hope and me and my husband are trying again for the 5th time. hopefully it work out for both of us? let me know how u get on , i hope this helped x
