3 weeks pregnant & brownish spotting

I did a pregnancy test this morning with a clear blue digital and it said "pregnant".  However, I'm a little concerned as I've had brownish spotting today.  Hardly anything, the tiniest bit in my underwear which looked more like a smudge as opposed to anything else.  I haven't had anything when I wipe but there is brownish cm a little further inside.  If I press with the tissue a little, I can see brown cm on the tissue.  Is this normal or could I be having a chemical pregnancy?

Thank you.  Well it lasted for just over a day, but it really was hardly anything.  I'm thinking it was actually implantation bleeding because it has completely gone now.  And my pregnancy tests are showing stronger lines each day so I'm hoping this is a good sign.

Hi!  Congratulations!
The answer to your question is that only time will tell. Many people have spotting in the beginning--sometimes there is an implantation bleed when the embryo implants in the lining, and this is normal.

If the bleeding continues or becomes bright red, then it is more worriesome.

Wish you all the best!
