Deff sounds like labour, usually throwing up is the transition between first stage labour to active labour. Everything else you've described sounds like labour. Sound really close to how my first was. You need to get to the hosp, especially if its an hour away!!! Good luck. Reckon you could have your bubba very soon!

I pretty much slept through the very fist stages of labour. My active labour alternated between front and back....

Sounds like it could be back labour. Its actually quite commonly missed as a labour sign. Can you ring a mid wife and describe it to them? I would be making sure you have everything ready to go to hospital.

Start timing them. If they are consistent and getting closer and longer then it is more than likely labour. I would be getting my but to the hospital. My first labour was only 2 1/2 hours, you could have a quick one too!!

I personally wouldn't risk it. I know it ***** going in for false alarm but guess what soon you'll have a baby and all the false hospital trips will all be in the past =) but I truly understand where you are coming from because I'm in a similar situation and I stopped going to hospital for my contractions. I would live at the hospital if I went everyone I had more than 4 an hour

Does it feel like the last 5 times or is it worse? Is the pain progressing or coming closer? I doubt the baby is balling up, I'm sure its contractions. If you're already dilated then I wouldn't risk it

Try drinking some cold water and lay down on left side. If they continue I'd say might be labor!! And if you move and it stops it's false but if it keeps hurting and getting more painful id say its time! Good luck!
