39 weeks and not dialated

Ftm I'm 39 weeks pregnant and am not dialated only 50% effaced my doctor appointment is on November 27 which is my due date. What if I'm not even dialated yet what will happen? Will they be able to do a membrane sweep? Can I not be induced and just wait until she's ready to come out? How long do they let you wait until they induced you?  I haven't had any contactions or Braxton hicks. I've been doing 100 squats, walking on trend mill, and sex, but nothing as of yet. I'm just scared to be traumatized.

No you don't have to be induced. You can choose to wait it out.

They can only do a membrane sweep if they can reach your cervix and you are dialated, some people don't start to dialate until they are in labour.
Usually you wont be allowed to go more than 2 weeks past your due date, they will usually do a stress test to monitor bub and see that they are in good health and schedule an induction 10 - 14days after due date.
I'm 40w2d and really hoping not to be induced!
