No you don't need bath things for the baby and I would just bring going home clothes although some hospitals allow you to change baby into clothes you have for them they will just end up taking them off when they do there testing on baby...well at least mine did and will always put her back in hospital clothing Lol.
im mostly wondering how many clothes do i need to bring for the baby n do i need to bring bath things for the baby
I just packed my bag i brought
-Sweats
-Slippers
-going home outfits
-Going home outfit for baby
-Toothbrush&toothpaste
-Breastfeeding bra
-tanktops
-Brush&deodorant
-Id
-Babybook (they can stamp baby footprint in it)
-flipflops for shower
-underwear
-Pads&breastpads
-xtra diapers&wipes(just in case hospital doesnt provide)
-Pjs (your choice)
-Carseat
-Some money for snacks
I took travel sized shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and toothpaste. Clothes to change into, because the gown *****. Phone charger, some snacks because my hospital didn't feed dad. Clothes for baby, blankets to go home in (my hospital didn't let us take blankets home)
I think that's about all I brought.. bare minimum for me I guess haha
The hospital will provide diapers and wipes while you're there, and mine also gave us formula to supplement because my milk took a while to come in and I had a big chunky baby haha.
