6 months, no dr !!!

I was just curious of what I should do.. I am 23 weeks now, almost 6 months and I still don't have an ob/gyn ! I'm starting to get some pains but no dr to check me out. I've been on a waitlist for a while now. Should I just go to the clinic every once and a while and see if they can do check ups on me ? This is my first pregnancy, I want my boy to be healthy

Did you get an ultrasound? Did you have tests or blood work done? How do you know it is a boy?

Dont stress out i was 7 months pregnant when i finally found out i was. All thwy do is make sure everythings fine give you an ultrasound and strap you into the heart monitor to make sure you babys fine. Theyll put you on prenatal vitamins if you havent already been taking them. But all in all im sure youll be fine. So dont stress out try going to a office that takes walk ins and get yourself checked out. Good luck

Hi!
If you were my patient, I would not advise you to come in unless you had either a  appointment or a significant problem.  Ideally prenatal care would begin before the end of the first trimester, so it is a shame that you don' t have a provider yet.
I don't know the situation in your area, but I'm sure they wlll get you in as soon as they can.  The fact that you know you have a boy indicates that you have managed to get an ultrasound, so, somebody is looking after you!
Good luck!

If you're worried then why don't you try going to the clinic when they open and ask them if you can to see the doctor. Usually they're understanding n they can squeeze you in. :)
