how common is a False negatiptive on a HPT...
My last Period before I got Pregnant was Aug 22nd...so I was testing in September because I was late. Than I got my false negative...and thought I was going nuts because I had Symptoms and no Period! I took my friends advice and waited it out for 2 more weeks, still no Period came..and it came back Positive. Sometimes our bodies are strange!
If you're having Symptoms it is possible your Pregnant. That brown CM could have been Implantation Bleeding and if thats the case, you should wait at least another week before you test again..just so it's accurate. Much Luck!

oh yeah..when you guys tested was it because your period never came, or was it because your period was not regualr (late)????
ok...because i have all the sympoms but i tested yesterday twice and got a BFN.
my period didnt really come this month it was only spotting and 5 days late, and i had brown tinted CM for about four days. I have been waking up extremely sick to my stomache and have been exhausted for the past two weeks...maybe i should go to a doc and get a blood test . . .

Their more common than people think. Some womens HCG levels aren't as strong as others...some people Ovulate later than they think...Implantation could take longer than expected. All of these are factors.
I got a false negative when I was 4 weeks Pregnant! Waited another 2 weeks and finally got my Positive.

I have a whole batch of tests that still yet say neg. and I'm almost 10 weeks with twins....I could have gotten my BFP sooner than 11 DPO if I'd had good tests.
i think it is pretty common... depends on alot of things though... if you did the test wrong... expired test... testing to early, so if you think you did all of those things, then i would go and get a blood test... i am kind of going through the same thing, and i am going tomorrow for a blood test, and my tests we all negative when i was preg with my son.
