hot showers?
Im 26 weeks and just wondering...... I LOVE extremely hot showers and just wanted to know if baby can get over heated or too hot from my hot showers?
Oh lord I take hot showers all the time :( I'm 9 weeks i guess no more hot showers this was good to know

yes, you shouldnt take hot hot showers or baths. its dangerous it can put you into preterm labor
You should not be taking hot showers, baths, using hot tubes or saunas. All of these can raise your body temperature which can heat the amniotic fluid.
When I was pregnant with my son the doctors told me that it was not safe. I also love hot showers and although i was told not to I took them anyway because it was the only way i could relax. However, I didn't stay in there very long at all because it can raise your internal body temp. and it is NOT safe for your baby. Hope this helped.
